Former Dallas Cowboy, Robert Thomas, is in the process of forming a minor professional football team based in Southwest Fort Worth, Texas .
Mr. Thomas is a graduate of Henderson State University in Arkansas.In 1995 he was Gulf South Conference defensive player of the year and Gulf South All Conference in 1995 and 1996.He was inducted into the Arkansas High School Hall of Fame in 2006.Mr. Thomas enjoyed a 10-year professional football career with the Cowboys from 1998-2002. After leaving the Cowboys, Thomas played in the Arena Football League from 2004-2008.

Tony Abbs will be acting as head coach of the Fort Worth Wranglers. Abbs had a distinguished football career as a high school standout at Denton High and was later inducted into the Texas High SchoolHall of Fame.He also has participated in city youth athletics as a baseball and football coach.Mr. Abbs made the All Star team two years running while playing for the Arlington Broncos minor professional football team. He then went to try out for the Green Bay Packers football organization.Prior to this coaching job, Mr. Abbs was the head coach for the minor professional Tarrant County Calvary football organization.
Thomas Everett will be the assistant head coach and defensive coordinator. Mr. Everett graduated from Baylor University in 1986.He has a professional football career that spanned eight years, playing the 92-93 season with the Cowboys. After leaving professional football, he has worked in the national football league and has coached at two local schools. He has established the Thomas Everett Athletic Association in 2005 and is also a member of the International Youth & Conditioning Association.
James Washington is a native of Fort Worth, Texas. He was an all-around athlete playing both basketball and football while attending Dunbar High School where he graduated with honors and scholarships.He continued his education by attending Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas majoring in Business Administration and Telecommunication. Mr. Washington’s athletic achievements include one year with the San Francisco 49’ers specialty team, two years for the Toronto’s BCS League and two years with the Cowtown Cowboys minor professional football team. Mr. Washington a receiver coach for the minor professional Tarrant County Calvary football organization. He will be the receiver coach for the Fort Worth Wranglers.
The Wranglers, whose opening season will be spring 2014, are currently seeking additional staff.
